10.11.2005 - Wechselgebiet together with Franz Gruber

The California nebula (named from his shape) is an extremely faint patch of nebulosity almost three degrees long and probably illuminated by Xi Persei (Menchib) a blue-white main sequence star. The red light of the nebula is primarily Ha (Hydrogen Alpha).
