31.08.2005 - Ebenwaldhöhe

The nebula got his name for its uncanny resemblance to that continent. It is a very large area of emission nebulosity approx. 3 degree east of Deneb in Cygnus. In the left part is the famous Cygnus Wall, a highly energised shock front.
